You’ve come to the right place! I offer voice-over recording, specified to your needs. As an expert in cold reading, and with the ability to make any script come to life and connect with your listener, I can record your script in my professional recording studio and send you the files. Or you can connect with me via software like Source Connect or Cleanfeed and record the audio at your end.
As a podcast producer, I am able to provide you with clean, edited broadcast ready audio. Or if you’d prefer to receive the raw files and master them yourself then that is available too.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through the website contact form or email. If you know what the voiceover will be used for, where it will be heard (internal, public facing website, organic social media, paid advertising etc.), this information is super helpful to get us on the way.

The cost of a voice over is based on a number of things.
First, how long do you estimate the recording will take? The initial cost is based on 1 hour sessions. This is called a BSF - Basic Studio Fee and is a standard cost of £250 per hour or $300 per hour. This hour session includes prep, recording, editing and sending the files.
What the recording will be used for - internal usage only, client website, events, broadcast, organic social media, advertising online, TV or radio. The usage will differ for these categories. I base my prices on the Gravy for the Brain rate card in the UK, and GVAA rate card in the USA.
Then we need to know how long you’d like to license the recording for. It’s helpful to have a set amount of time instead of “in perpetuity” as the cost is much lower for one year usage than a lifetime, and most clients don’t actually use the same recording for longer than 5 years as companies evolve.
There is no additional charge for directed sessions or cleaning up the audio.

Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. I’m here to bring your script to life. To help put that final touch on the video or audio that you’ve been working so hard on. I pride myself as being reliable, easy to work with and hopefully fun! I have many repeat clients that like to come back to me because they know they’ll get the voiceover they need, on the same day that they send it the script to me.
-
Of course! In fact, I find it helpful to have you listening in so you can direct me in the way you’d like. My job is ready your script in the exact way you need, and if you’re in my ear whilst I record we can make sure we tweak the performance to get you exactly what you’d like! You can connect with me via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cleanfeed or Source Connect.

You can find me on Source Connect by searching for allymurphyvoiceactor

I aim to record and get audio files back to you on the same day you send them. If I’m already booked that day then I aim to get it to you within 24 hours.
This of course depends on how long your script is. If your script is longer than 2 hours long then we can find a timeframe that works for you. Just send me the details via email, or call if you’d like to chat.
To find out my full availability, just email me and I can let you know if there are any booked out dates.

I am fully available most days, and can usually find a time to suit your timezone. I frequently work with voiceover clients in the UK and Europe in their timezone from my studio in the USA. Luckily I’m an early riser!

My native accent is neutral British English. I grew up in midlands and lived in the north for my 20’s so I also work confidently in a midlands accent and a northern accent.
I now live in the USA and so also do voice overs in a transatlantic accent (that international kind of accent where it’s not too British, not too American). I also work in an American accent too, particularly for character work.
-
Unfortunately, my voice is not available for cloning or AI training without explicit consent and contract negotiations.
